Heavenly Father, just as You commanded Your people to set apart what is clean and avoid what is detestable in the waters, I ask for the discernment to separate my heart from the pollutions of the world. Give me the wisdom to recognize and avoid anything that defiles my soul. Lord, as You said in Leviticus 11:10-12, anything in the waters without fins and scales is unclean. I pray that You will anchor my life so I am not tossed about by shifting cultural currents. Keep me grounded in Your Word, and help me to protect my mind from toxic influences. Create in me a clean heart, and help me to live a life that is consecrated, holy, and fully pleasing to You. In Your holy name, I pray. Amen.
