Heavenly Father, Lord of Hosts, I come before You seeking Your divine protection against the forces of darkness. Just as the cries of the oppressed reach Your ears, I bring my heartfelt cries to You, knowing that no weapon of the enemy can stand against Your mighty power. Lord, keep me "salted with fire". Purify my heart and mind, burning away fear, doubt, and temptation so that I may be a living sacrifice acceptable to You. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I may have the preserving salt of Your grace within me. Let Your peace guard my steps, and help me live in harmony and steadfast faith. Shield me from the snares of evil, and let Your light dispel all darkness from my path. In the holy and mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
